"Sweet Goodbye" By
Crystal Sunshine
"I came across Jeff Buckley probably in 1994 I believe. I was just a teen and I
remember being blown away and have been ever since. His voice and lyrics, his whole being has inspired me soo much. I'm still in mourning that he is not here with us. I had just
gotten the "So Real CD: Songs from Jeff
Buckley" and was listing to "Forget Her" for the first time (it was the first time I have ever heard that one song). I rushed to the piano, tape
recorder on and this song just flowed out of me as if I was summoned by Jeff himself. I had to play back the tape recorder to write
down what had come from my mouth of course, lol ... and, I made sure to put it on my new album as well.
The CD came out Sep.1st 2008." You can see Crystal Sunshine perform Dec. 10th, 2008 at The Carousel Lounge in Austin, Texas. The CD
"Nephilim Blood" is available at CD Baby and iTunes. You can contact Crystal Sunshine at

"Easy Come, Easy Go" By
Tom Crowley
I first heard Jeff about 10 years ago, at the beginning stages of my career. I was about to begin a 12 hour car ride when a friend of mine handed me the album "Grace". I was going thru a bit of a hard time, questioning my direction in life and my friend thought the music might be of service. I listened to the album from start to finish about 30 times... each time digging deeper into the depths of myself along with Jeff. If there was one thing I knew for sure it was that an artist such as Jeff painted songs of his life, with colors from his soul. Beautiful, painful, and true. I found the direction I was looking for.
Much like Jeff's song "Grace", "Easy Come, Easy Go", I feel melodically takes you on a roller coaster ride of highs and lows .. such is life. The song is about the relationship between the earth and sun subtly conveying that the sun never really goes down... its the earth that turns away from the light. Symbolically, our material world that shy's away from a higher power. Thank you for your inspiration and happy birthday Jeff. You can contact Tom Crowley at:
