I returned home one day to find a postcard on my doormat….I can still
remember the feeling of holding that card in my hand. I turned it over,
the postmark was Albany NY - I was confused. Who was writing to me from
New York? And then I saw at the bottom: Jeff’s signature.
Today Jeff Buckley would have celebrated his 45th birthday.
To celebrate this I will be posting my top 10 current JB favourites.
I hope there are some fellow JB lovers out there who might do the same?

Today, 45 years ago, we were sent a precious gift in the form a baby boy who's
life and heart touched and continues to touch all whom know him. Although his
life here on earth was short it was certainly filled with an abundance of
substance and an essence of pure love that one could only hope to experience
and be. His gifts of love that were created and molded in the form of music,
art and friends...hip are eternal and will always be remembered as they
live in the hearts and souls of those whom are blessed to appreciate such
Grace. Although I breath daily this pure essence, I need to take this
opportunity to say thank you Jeff for all that you are and I know you are
basking in universal bliss knowing that you and your music are loved and
cherished for eternity.
Not a day passes where we don't miss you but within
the gifts you so graciously gave, we feel you and know that although your
vessel is no longer here, your soul, your love is alive and continues to
grow in light. Thank you for enriching my life with extraordinary love.
Thank you for always reminding me of what is most important. Thank you for
always inspiring me to be a better soul. Thank you for reminding me to be me!
You are irreplaceable! I carry your heart. I carry it in my heart!
