Sonnet XXII.

Who are the five I'll meet in my heaven?
The ones who'll teach me what my life was for
Will Larry call my name as he did then?
Wish that he'd settled down, was with us more
I'll turn my head, hear Jeff, chanteuse, so pure
He'll tell me death was never in the plan
Yenta, there to recount my dear father
Before the grief set in - oh what a man!
Then see my mother as she was before
I wished she'd understood me like my girl
She tells me that she did, she knew my core
But left me on my own so I'd unfurl
At last I see my father by the light
He tells me now my sweetheart you've done right
